Zones
The areas your hub marks out on the map, and what changes inside one.
TraceReach Drop plays this walkthrough on the live app, pointing at one control at a time and waiting for the press. Read its steps here first, in the app's own words, on any phone or laptop.

What a zone is
A zone is an area your hub wants worked, either a circle drawn on the map or a whole town, city or region. Inside one, your drops count toward that work, and the hub sets how far apart they have to sit. A hub admin or editor makes one in Drop: press and hold the map, then choose Zone.

Which zone you're in
These pills name the zone and the Spot you're standing in, which is where your next drop goes. Tap one to open it on the map.
- 03
A zone's rules
A zone's card shows how far apart drops have to sit, and what the zone covers, either a range or the town, city or region it was made from. Zone rules opens the rest: the dates the zone runs, and what a message earns inside it. Open a zone by tapping its ring, its centre mark or its name. A zone made from a town, city or region also opens from a tap anywhere inside it.

Why a Run greys out
A Run tied to a zone takes drops made inside that zone. Stand outside it and the Run picker greys that Run and names the zone to go to.

Zones done
Read the pill at the top of the screen for the zone you're in, and tap a zone for what it covers, its spacing, and its dates.
Play it in Drop
Open TraceReach Drop, tap Help in the bottom corner of the camera or the map, then pick Zones.
Help has what the words on your screen mean, and the guides for running a hub.
