Drop posters and displays that have no QR.

TraceReach Drop plays this walkthrough on the live app, pointing at one control at a time and waiting for the press. Read its steps here first, in the app's own words, on any phone or laptop.

  1. 01

    No QR?

Take a photo of materials and displays that don't have QRs: posters, flyers, spray chalk.

  2. 02

    Pick Manual

    Once you are signed in

Tap Manual on the mode switch.

  3. 03

    Take the photo

    Once you are signed in

Tap the shutter. This is practice, so it saves nothing. Out on the street, the drop saves and uploads on its own.

  4. 04

    Sign in first

    Before you sign in

Manual drops save to your hub, so sign in from the Settings gear. You can scan QR codes right now without an account.

  5. 05

    Manual mode done

Pick Manual, take the photo, and the drop uploads on its own. Use it whenever the piece has no QR.

Play it in Drop

Open TraceReach Drop, tap Help in the bottom corner of the camera or the map, then pick Manual mode.

Help has what the words on your screen mean, and the guides for running a hub.
