First drop
Pick a mode, take the photo, and it saves as one drop.
TraceReach Drop plays this walkthrough on the live app, pointing at one control at a time and waiting for the press. Read its steps here first, in the app's own words, on any phone or laptop.

Welcome to Drop
Drop records what you put up: posters, flyers, stickers, canvass stops. This short tour shows you each control.
- 02
Your active hub
When you are on a hub
Your drops save to the hub named here. After the tour, tap it to switch hubs.
- 03
Where your drops are saved
Before you join a hub
You're not on a hub's team yet, so your drops are just yours. Join a hub and it shows up at the top of the screen. Then you can switch to file your drops to that hub.
- 04
No QR?
Once you are signed in
This switch picks the mode. Tap Manual to photograph materials and displays that don’t have QRs.
- 05
Practice a drop
Once you are signed in
Tap the shutter. This is practice, so it saves nothing. On a real drop, the photo and your GPS location save as one drop.
- 06
Sign in first
Before you sign in
Manual drops save to your hub, so sign in from the Settings gear. You can scan QR codes right now without an account.
- 07
The upload queue
Drops save to your phone first and upload on their own, even with no signal. Each confirmed drop earns a point.
- 08
The help button
After the tour, tap ? to see what each control does or to run this tour again.
- 09
You're ready
Pick a mode, take the photo, and the drop uploads on its own. More tours live under the ? button.
Play it in Drop
Open TraceReach Drop, tap Help in the bottom corner of the camera or the map, then pick First drop.
Help has what the words on your screen mean, and the guides for running a hub.
